Eugene Chang M.D.

Dr. Chang earned a bachelor of art in Political Science from Brown University
and a combined MD and MBA from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston.
He returned to the west coast for his internship at the University of California, San Francisco , Fresno campus.
Dr. Chang attended California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco for his residency in Ophthalmology.

He completed the prestigious two year medical & surgical Retina-Vitreous fellowship at Rush University/ Illinois Retina Associates in Chicago, Illinois. There he trained under the direction of Kirk Packo M.D., a nationally recognized expert in the field of vitreo-retina surgery.

Dr. Chang joins our team in Oregon Retina Center after 12 years of practice in California. He enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the Rogue Valley.

Dr. Chang is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology (ABO).
He is a Member of the American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS) , the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Medical Association.

He has participated in multiple national clinical studies on diabetes, retinal vein occlusions, wet and dry macular degeneration, uveitis, and surgical retinal implants.
